Why ride-hailing on Reunion

Local public transport (Car Jaune, Citalis, Alterneo, Kar'Ouest) covers main axes but stops early and isn't practical for hillside neighbourhoods. Ride-hailing fills that gap: door-to-door, any time, no price surprises since the fare is shown before you confirm.

Zoot covers the entire island. Drivers are independent, KYC-verified and rated. The iOS and Android app launches this season: you can pre-install today.

Day and night coverage

Driver availability varies by zone:

  • Saint-Denis, Saint-Pierre, Saint-Gilles: 24/7 coverage on main axes, 5-10 min average wait.
  • Le Tampon, Saint-André, Saint-Benoît: near-full daytime coverage, night-time available but longer wait (10-20 min).
  • Cilaos, Salazie, Plaine-des-Palmistes: advance booking recommended. Long roads, few drivers spend the night up there.

For early flights or late nights, book the day before, the app handles scheduling.
